Hi Reader! Ahoy!! Long time, no see! This Spring and Summer have been a whirlwind over here at the Bjorklund household. As you probably know by my Facebook posts, we've had an interesting year. My Mom was with us for over two months, we moved her into a memory care facility, and now we're preparing for what comes next. It's a LOT, honestly. During that time, I was keeping up with my work and my Facebook group, but eventually checked out for a bit and stopped taking on new clients so I could focus on her. During her stay with us, we visited the lilacs in the Spring, hunkered down together at JC Penney during the tornado warning, had a porch party with both of our families for Mother's Day, and got together with family as much as we could. Dane and I were also able to make it to Grand Island so he could play in the community band with his Dad for the Memorial Day service. At 90, Bob is still tooting away on his sousaphone. We look forward to it every year. One of the great things about being self-employed is that you have the time freedom to be able to do that and not feel guilty about it. Going out on my own is the best decision I've ever made, next to marrying my husband! Now that Mom is settled in her new home and I'm back from Alaska, I'm back at it! I'm not going to lie... I'm behind schedule with my 2025 group launches, but you gotta do what you gotta do. In all honesty, "behind schedule" for me is likely "way ahead" for most people. LOL. What can I say... I'm a planner! That's why I'm so good at what I do. If you're new to this list, welcome to my newsletter! I know... it's a lot right out of the gate, but you'll get used to me. If you've been around a while, it's so nice to chat with you again! I'm really looking forward to things gearing up again and getting back out into the world again. It's good to have you here. ❤️ ~ Kathy Recent Travel: CBK Alaska CruiseMy inaugural Connections by Kathy (CBK) trip was a success! We had 29 amazing people join us on the cruise of a lifetime! We've been back for almost a month, but I still need to go through the 630 pictures that I took and shape them into a work of art that someone will actually want to sit down and watch. I'm feeling more creative now that I'm back in the flow of things, so I should have something to share soon! I'll share that with you next time. Promise. I did post some pics in my Connections by Kathy Travel Club on Facebook. Please join us there, if you haven't already! That's where all the good stuff is. One of my major goals for my new travel agency when I started over in 2022 was to A) host trips with my husband, Dane, and B) invite people to come along with us. So this trip was the culmination of many years of dreaming and a couple of years doing. I was ecstatic! Which leads me to the moment you've been waiting for... 2025 Hosted Tour AnnouncementAnnouncing...

Hi friends, I wanted to share something fun I’ve been working on behind the scenes. I’m hosting an adults-only cruise in July 1-6, 2026 from Miami to Key West and Bimini with Virgin Voyages. It originally came together around my 40th high school reunion, but it will be open to friends next week, too. It’s easy, social, and a great fit if you like the idea of a relaxed getaway with built-in fun and very little planning stress. 👉 View trip details + booking info If you have questions or want to...
Hi Reader! Happy Spring! How has your March been? ❤️ Our first hyacinth of the year. ❤️ It's been an interesting couple of weeks here. Life threw us another curveball with my Mom so we took a trip to see her down in Deshler. I'm so grateful that I have a career that gives me the flexibility to step away at a moment's notice and step up for her. It's one of the main reasons that I became an independent agent, actually. With today's technology, I can work from anywhere and my boss is the BEST!...
